From: Analysis of saccharification in Brachypodium distachyon stems under mild conditions of hydrolysis
Effect of increasing amount of enzymes in the digestion of Brachypodium stem segments and paper discs. Paper discs and plant material were pretreated at 90°C with 1% H2SO4 for 20 min and subsequently hydrolysed with increasing amounts of enzyme. Sugars were determined in the incubation media. Results present the mean (± SD) of triplicate experiments.
