Biomass saccharification of the sorghum lines AdoMetase #1 and AdoMetase #3 grown in two different field sites in California. The data shows the amounts of glucose and xylose released after dilute alkaline and dilute acid pretreatments followed by 48 h of enzymatic digestion with an enzyme cocktail. Values are means ± SE of four biological replicates (n = 4 plots). For each site and pretreatment method, asterisks indicate significant differences from the wild type (WT) using the unpaired Student’s t test (*P < 0.1, **P < 0.05)
